Malaysia´s content aggregator and broadcaster, Asian Broadcast Network (ABN) signed a carriage agreement deal with a Multi Channel Asia (MCA), a Singapore based content distributor for pay-TV channels. As per the agreement ABN will broadcast additional eight channels to its viewers.
The channels include NDTV 24/7, Bloomberg Television, KidsCo, NDTV Good Times, NDTV India and Outdoor Channel as well as Havoc 24 and Motorvision. Gregg Creevey, MD of MCA, said, “We are pleased to link up with ABN as the latest entrant in the Malaysian pay-TV sector. In working with MCA, ABN will be able to deliver a number of key channels across multiple genres and demographics”.
ABN signed deal with Motorola for supplying digital headend, set-top boxes and broadband access equipment for their triple-play services at the beginning of this year. Malaysia being one of the most fascinating and competing pay-TV markets in South-Asia forces operators to deliver premium contents for engaging subscribers.
